Searched jobs on linkedin for ‘digital marketing’ and did the ‘entry level’ filter. 2793 jobs. In the US anyway…. Didn’t see a way to search the world for jobs.

Senior-level marketing specialist here (6+ years). You need to be in the industry anywhere from 4 to 5 years of experience before you can even think about asking 60k a year. It really varies from company to company but no one is gonna offer you a job over the phone for 60k if you dont have previous experience not to mention being certified by Google which takes months. This information is not factual. Also do not expect a company to train you and then offer you 60k – if they have to train you you’re gonna be around 30k. My advice is to focus on one area of digital marketing like PPC and get certified by Google. Then get a job at an agency for a couple of years managing multiple accounts which includes reporting and optimization. After those 2 years you can ask for 50k not whintin the agency (agencies will not pay you more than 45k no matter how good you are) but with a company.

Unfortunately, this course is about 3 years too late. Go on indeed and search for SEO, PPC jobs. There are too many people to compete with now. I don’t bother searching for virtual jobs anymore. Those get over 100 resume submissions in just a few days.

Love this video always wanted to know about digital marketing since this is the new thing in today’s society. But when I searched on learning digital marketing wow I mean I got just a headache from searching on where/whom/ to look at then some want you to pay for this training which can be pretty expensive. So I will check this out and maybe I will have a shot at this!!! Time will tell!!!!

Thank you so much for this! Marketing is such a huge boat! I’ve been trying to find my niche in this industry and I think I just found it! Thank you engineered truth, years ago you gave me a wake-up call that becoming a lawyer is not my path. I graduate with my bachelors in marketing this May. Currently, I work in tech and publishing and want to use my analytical skills and creative skills in marketing. Digital marketing is my next step to following this path. Can’t thank you enough! Taking the free course and will provide update.

I started Seth’s course back in October of 2016 … Now, its almost February and I still haven’t found a job in Digital marketing.

To be clear and honest, Its not a scam (necessarily). Seth teaches you great material that focuses on the best practices of digital marketing today. He explains everything succinctly enough for anyone to follow along. However… Seth does use his anecdotal evidence to back up his brittle, exploitable reasons on how "easy" it is to get a Digital Marketing career.

After i went through the course material multiple times to the "T" — following up with applications, cover letters, sending my own sample work — I was contacted and interviewed 16 times by companies in the NY area. Still, none of the companies were willing to teach me on the job and went on with other candidates with years of experience.

Here’s the deceptive thing about this course:

Even though digital marketing is relatively in demand, people are starting to figure out about it. In the New York area — where I live — for every digital marketing career post on linkedIn in the Tri-state area , there about 47 people on average applying for this position. There’s also an article that shows Digital marketing falling from 4th to 9th on a list where it ranks careers in high demand. Not to mention, There are many other sources and online courses, like Udemy, Lynda and Moz, that encourage thousands of people to pursue careers in digital marketing though other paid online courses.

Just be skeptical of Matt Tran’s click bait title. "$0 – $60,000" sounds like its too good to be true. Well, it kind of is considering Matt’s channel shows 7 people who got digital marketing jobs out of 2,000 people who signed up for this course and paid $97 dollars a month for (in fact, Seth refers you to other courses and software that may cost you as well in his course).

This is just my experience after taking his course and yes, you could have a different outcome than me certainly. if you buy Seth’s course, and expect to get something in return… don’t depend on it. You’re lucky if you get an unpaid internship.

    Hope this helps motherfucks

Whole lot of plugging for angels list. A simple search on indeed shows all results asking for a minimum of a bachelors degree in marketing or a related business field.

I reviewed your video on Tai Lopez and your feelings toward him. What do you think about his social media marketing program? Is it the same as this program with Seth or will more or less be taught by Seth? I see the value in digital marketing but I’m wondering if these two are the same program, are they credible and value being spent to take either program?

I’m also self taught.. started out in SEO 20+ years ago when the interweb was just starting to become ‘a thing’.. and then over the years gradually ended up learning a wide range of marketing disciplines. And ya know what? More than anything, most of it is just FUN to learn and see in action.

So why is it that there are so many offers for paid social media jobs that you have to pay for/pay-into to become a employee? The company asking you to pay $57 dollars, $35 dollars, etc. What do you recommend for those who are seeking digital marketing jobs, but actually have no money to purchase, but for those interested in entering the field?

2:40 Those degrees aren’t worthless per se, but they have a very low demand compared to other jobs.

PS: I’m talking about all the degrees he’s talking about, not just women’s studies.
