Thanks for sharing. Going to try it this week 💜
I’m going to try this
BEAUTIFULL…
This spring I'm building a work shop in my backyard so I can do things like this. I'm 55 and someday I'm going to retire and I want something to do. I want a hobby that will pay for it's self. BTW it turn out beautiful.
Omgsh this is so helpful! Thank you!! Do you have any videos that show how to repair damaged pieces? My neighbour was throwing out an old desk that I took and I want to refinish but the desktop has some seems that have split/separated quite a bit. Is there anything you’d recommend to fill these ? Epoxy? Wood filler? Thank you again!!
Hi. I'm new to your channel and loving your tutorials. I have several pieces around my home that I can hardly stand any more 😜 and this is the year of change! Thanks for your inspiration!

How long did you let your second coat of paint dry before applying High Performance top coat? I see you wait at least 72 hours before applying it on the Java oil-based stain… but what about the paint? Thank you!
Does it matter what kind of wood it is for the chalk paint? Or do some types need to be primed?
Such an awesome job… love it!
PLEASE. LEGEND IN PORTUGUESE BRASIL
Came for the tutorial..subscribed and stayed for your personality!
Great work
Hi, can you use a water-based stain versus an oil-based stain, what would be the difference in the appearance?
What is the point of cleaning it if you have to sand it?
2' intro. Why..?? 😒
Love it
Hi, Question: 1) why did you decide to use the gel stain on the top rather than chalk paint in a dark colour? 2) does the top coat make the white chalk paint a bit yellow at all? (I'm a beginner so I have lots of questions). 🙂 The table looks Amazing!!
Very nice, thanks for posting this video👍
what is the color of your green wall paint
Hi, I'm new to this hobby. I have painted something with Dixie Bell's white paint. What can I use to seal it without it turning yellow? I don't want to use wax on it. Everything I read contradicts the previous articles. Thanks for any help.
Do these products have a strong odor? Do you need an airy space when working with them? You make it look so easy. Very informative video. Thanks
Did you paint the underside or leave it the wood color?
I have lots of old wood furniture around the house. I can start one project!
Would you suggest a wax or a top coat for a kitchen table?
How much would charge for this piece?
Love, love your tutorial. Thanks a a bunch. I'm doing the exact same colors for my farmhouse theme. 💓 Do you ever use wax to seal pieces and what is your thought on it?
Hello there, I wanna use the general finish flat top coat for my dinning room table and I wanted to know if it will scratch easily?
👍👍👍
Is Chalk paint durable?
Awesome looking…i would definitely put that in any room of my house
Thanks for posting. Great job!
Beginner question here- is using mineral spirits doing the same thing as using TSP?
Scarlett Padilla
Well, it looks amazing but the Purpose of using stain is to preserve the grain of the wood and you just covered it. You might as well use paint instead of stain 😊
Very nice! I'm trying to redo an old dresser and turn it into a DVD and CD holder. I'm using the Dixie Yankie blue paint for the outside and red for the inside drawers. Any suggestions on how to remove the varnish (wish I could insert a picture of the dresser)?
can you please suggest a finish to use for my dining room table for a mom who has a very messy 2 year old? ill be cleaning the table a lot!
Fh
I can't believe you would ruin the beautiful wood furniture by painting it.
Thats really a a Wow-Wow work! Keep it up Dude!
Muy bonita
I have a question so I have a dresser already chalk painted white but I want to change the color what can I do?
….per me era meglio legno a vista.
..
Отвратительно , грязно , в сарай хорошо
Awesome 👏
Love it! Thanks!
Hi Christina, I'm new here 🤗 I'm going to paint my night tables black , should I use chalked paint and a finish coat ? I want a glossy finish 🥺
Do you have any substitute for the "General Finishes High-Performance Topcoat Flat"? I couldn't find it in my country. Or how can I ask for this at my local Home Depot?
Or can we skip this final step?
So simple and Easy. Will be trying
omg gorgeous girl
I think you’re going to help me save a lot of money by just repurposing my own furniture! Thank you so much! Subscribed!
