Easy Iron Farm Tutorial | Simply Minecraft (Java Edition 1.16)

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

Today we put our villagers to work to produce iron for us! In this tutorial I’ll show you how to build an easy iron farm that will generate around 7.5 stacks of iron per hour. This is a simple design that doesn’t take too long to make. We use a zombie to scare some villagers and they then summon an iron golem to protect themselves. We use lava to kill the golem and collect the iron and poppies. This video includes a block-by-block tutorial and shows how to move the mobs around in survival with some practical examples.

So I built this underground and to save space i put it connected to my wheat/carrot/potatoe farm. I used the scared villagers as the "collectors" and set it up to match the farming barriers while making the farm only 2 blocks tall stopping the iron golem from spawning in the farm. Works pretty well, mostly iron comes out but it is an endless supply of food and building/tool materials.

Can i make a video on this farm with some adjustments and give you credit for inspiration?

okay so i have made this farm a dozen times by now and I've never had an issue. I moved the farm further from my base so i could expand and now no golems spawn unless its night. I usually build the farm by memory but i even checked back to make sure everything was correct, it was. If anyone has any input on why this might be let me know.

Hi ! I just had a question : how many blocks (space) I need if I want to build a roof on top of the installation ? 8 too or more ? Knowing that I want to "cover" all of the farm in a house, because I'm on a realm and the owner doesn't want anything floating in the air 😂😅
