Hi Greg. Thank you for all of your work on this tutorial. I followed it step by step and it’s come out great. I then customized it a little more for my freelancing business. My question is this: Is it possible to change the order of entries under projects without deleting and re-entering? Thanks again for your work!

Hi Greg. Thanks for your great tutorials. One of the best I ever saw!!!! Could you please help me on on two topics: (1) I have changed the background color to grey in sydney as you described, but there is still a thumb-wide white stripe between header and first section on every page. Any idea how to change it? (2) I would like to create a only member area with a Login/Logout button. Do you have a tutorial about this topic or could you please recommend one of your colleagues?

Hi Greg, I want to congratulate you for the excellent tutorial. Thanks to that, I was able to successfully design my website. I wanted to ask you, if you had used the plugin Yoast Seo for this Theme, because the way the front page is designed it gives me many error messages. Or if you have any other recommendations, to define the Seo of a page designed from this theme. I’ll wait for your answer, thank you.

Hi Greg, I’m a the complete newbie here on creating my own website and the only way I’m learning all the "How To…." is by watching tutorials like yours in the early hours with my first cuppa tea. (That’s when my brain is at it’s best).

But first may I share a tip other newbies who find your site might like to know from my story following

The first thing I was persuaded to do by an over enthusiastic IT SEO friend was to purchase a Premium Theme which proved to be a rather foolhardy and expensive mistake. There are no extensive and very clear tutorials {like this one) to show you a step by step guide on how to design and get it up and running and whilst the "Demo" looks good – and why you buy it – let me tell you here and now – after a lot of snot flying, toy throwing, unimaginable red-faced cussing and tearful spit-spraying screaming at the computer – they are NOT easy to work with so DONT be tempted.

It was only by my desperate Google search "How to …with a Premium Theme" that I came across the sanest advice by one who wrote "don’t if you are a beginner." His advise was stay with Step 1, being a free WP theme, – premiums are step 10.
And that’s where "Sydney" was recommended and THAT’s how I ended up here….and learning the skills.

So firstly a huge thank you for creating this long but very VERY easy tutorial to follow and now I am ready to launch into creating my own – BUT I have only one question. Is "Sydney" the right one for me?
I absolutely love the whole Sydney theme but I notice from a few other tutorials also using "Sydney" for their demo that it’s very much business orientated.

My site will be all about my photography, art and writing inspiring and helpful blogs – only later maybe sales of my work. So before I start, is "Sydney" the right theme? Can I design it to make it a lovely platform to show my work off to its best advantage.

Hi Greg, I can’t thank you enough for your help et SO good demos ! May I ask for some special thing I couldn’t find help anywhere ? I had to add "artificially" a "button" in a text page (site origin editor) using a made-up image which I then linked to an anchor of the front page (#pg-172-3). My question is : How can I have the link "scroll down" slowly on click, instead of jumping straight to the right place ? Thank you !!

Hi Greg. Thanks for the informative video. How do i get all my images to be the same size in the portfolio section.

I’m at the service icon as I work through the tutorial. Can I use another icon instead of one from the table and how could I do this?

Your tutorials are coolest and I have learnt a lot. I am facing an issue here. I pasted the CSS as you have shown in the tutorial but nothing changes in actual. Is it because I am using the demo sydney version?

One question why the first slider image on my page doesn’t go all away up? The rest slider images work fine. What can cause that? Been driving myself crazy to figure that out.

Hi Greg – great vid. Is there a way to double check that there aren’t leftover’s from a previous design/theme/plugin, etc? I have a weird white page (looks like page one) that I can’t figure out how to delete. Also, some of the widgets don’t work correctly (SiteOrigin Editor won’t let me enter text for the footer) Mahalo!!!!!

Hi Greg I’m having an issue because my Call to action Row is not filling up the screen.. as in it doesn’t go from the left end of the screen to the right end, it’s just a rectangle box that looks like a picture I added.
How do change this and make it look like a row? and this keeps happening with every row I make! it’s so frustrating!!
    Thanks for everything

I can’t seem to get my banner to look like yours on the demo site. The menu is a drop down instead of a navigation bar at the top.
