Hi. Great tutorial :-). I have two questions:
1: Do I have to create the registration option? Or can I just add people myself? I’m thinking about using Buddypress for my theatre groups website and naturally we only want members of the group to register. I noticed in your tutorial that I as the administrator activate all users, so maybe it doesn’t matter.
2: Is it possible to have a calendar for all users? So members of my group can see all activities and book our stage and so on?

Here’s something no one seems to be mentioning on any tutorial….You have to have the BUSINESS version of WordPress. I have the Premium account but apparently, that’s not good enough. I’m new to this and don’t want to spend a bunch of money yet. Is there any way to have a social network site without getting the Business grade of WordPress?

My question about adding Buddypress to my WordPress site would be is there a way to do it outside of having it as a Plugin?

I have a WordPress.com site provided to me free by a conservative News Group, however, there is no Plugin tab on my Dashboard. All they provide me with is something called Social Plugin that contains little options while limiting you to a small format.

Is there a way to add the Plugin Tab to my dashboard manually?
