    Bucky, applets are dead.

  2. Sam Host February 12, 2020 at 1:42 am - Reply

Google chrome no longer supports Java applets just FYI

  3. meriem karoun February 12, 2020 at 1:42 am - Reply

So I should not continue learning the applets since I can't use them

  4. Shamak February 12, 2020 at 1:42 am - Reply

Unfortunately, support for Java applets has been overwhelmingly discontinued since this tutorial was produced. These will have to be just "watch only", it seems.

Really helpful, but I wonder why I cant connect to that Server using telnet. I also got similar Client and Server done in Qt and it works fine with telnet but not with that You've done in Java.
