I keep getting this error when I try to run java apples
"Error: A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: apples has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 56.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0"
I'm not sure what it means, so I tried updating Java, literally everything else I JUST downloaded 10 minutes ago so I don't see how something could be out of date. What do I do???

Is there no way to run just like in Dev C++. In that you just have to press F11. This way of compiling is to time consuming? Please tell me?

Watching this in 2019 so I can build apps, it's my first language….. Total beginner so I have a silly, maybe not, question. I was wondering if I still need to compile my code before running it when using InteliJ or any other IDE in 2019? 🤔
