why my python console opens with "py", instead of "python". Is this a problem, or I can get used with?

  6. Priscila Dell'Oro April 26, 2017 at 9:12 pm - Reply

My system type is x-64, I installed the newest version 3.6.0 (Windows x86-64 executable installer). When I open the command and type ‘py’, this message appears:
    "Python 3.6.0 (v3.6.0:41df79263a11, Dec 23 2016, 08:06:12) [MSC v.1900 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
That reference to "win32" means that I should have installed the 32bit instead?

Why don’t you produce a tutorial on V S Code? I think I’d be better off learning how to effectively use the editor before throwing code into it. So far it appears I need to educate myself on V S Code, Json (the configuration files), and Don Jayanne before I can even start getting any value from your python programming tutorial. Can you tell I’m an absolute beginner?

Talking too fast for a beginner’s class. I know, I can rewind the video but, slow down a bit and that way you will be able to explain things properly.
