FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

Learn how to create a realistic neon text effect. In this Photoshop tutorial we will be focusing on. Adding a brick wall background. Then darkening it up to make it look as if it was night. Then applying a neon font. Creating a neon glow to the font. Then we’ll be working with blending options to bring out the glow. We will also create a cord to give it a more realistic look and feel.

Was easy to follow and enjoyed it! Would suggest perhaps a link to a doc that provides basic points of what the blending adjustments do. Like sitting depth to 185% vs 200% or Size/Soften of 3 & 16 px. I like to copy paste the video, but have to assume that the pixel selections would have a different effect on larger/smaller image sizes, could provide insight on how those would affect it, vs me now getting into trial and error, it would improve the trial and reduce the error 🙂 Good Video nonetheless!

A warning to everybody in order to save them time! Use the Medium Quality version of the brick wall photo if you’re using the stock used in the tutorial. Not the original or High quality because they won’t give the same results!
