Minecraft 1.16: The Nether Update introduces a new mob called the Piglin. In this step-by-step tutorial guide we will learn all about the Piglin and in particular how they barter for items. If you give them a gold ingot they will exchange it for up to 17 different items. In this tutorial we will build a super simple farm that automatically gives Piglins gold ingots and stores the items they give us. We look at all the rates you need to know, like how many items the Piglins produce in total, how much gold you need to keep them bartering and a full breakdown of each item. This design is super simple, expandable and includes auto-shutdown so none of your gold goes to waste.

You'll have to space these out on some multiplayer servers. I've noticed the grouping range for items on some SMP servers can be huge so keeping these cells a couple blocks apart can help with that.
Cringe farm
Seems this particular contraption requires a jolt to get it started. If the machine ever runs out of gold the machine will shut off indefinitely. In order to get it started again you have to trigger the pressure plate, or otherwise get the dropper to shoot something out. It isn't actually automatic that way. I am not sure how I feel about that, considering I have this particular machine embedded deep within a building. I may just rip out the so-called 'automatic' portion from this video and just hook the thing up to a clock.
no piglin in overworld
I made it and the gold seems to combine together to the neighbouring cells. They seem to close together. Is there a way to fix this?
i dont like building iron farms because they are kinda hard to build so this can be a low tech iron farm!
am i the only who got some random ass water bottles in the collection chests?
how far can you afk from this?
Anyone know if this works on bedrock? I recreated it in creative mode, but the piglins don't seem to be picking up the gold, I tried replacing the carpet with a trapdoor and that still doesn't seem to work,
Would slabs work? Or do I need to exit creative for them to trade?
If anyone knows if it works on bedrock/how to fix it, that'd be great
Works like a dream. Although sometimes something gets stuck on the pressure plate because I couldn’t put glass on top of his head. Do you know why?
For some reason the piglins arent picking up the gold? Any ideas because I'm stumped
Hey logical, i have tried this design but item from other chambers clump together resulting an error on my server. But the design is very cheap
Thank you very mutch logic! A great and simple setup. I personatly removed the individual on/off buttons and integrated a lever to move all the pistons back at once as the on/off switch for multiple cells. Hope it helps someone who would also like to do a central on/off switch.
My piglins arent picking it up 🙁
can i put more than one in a cell with this design?
probably one of the easiest farms you can make combined with a gold farm you can be ender pearl rich
the glod joins into a stack with the next cell, any ideas how to stop this?
The pigstep in the back round is just the best touch. Rip his copyright monetezation though :/
This is the best design, I had another that locked the hoppers and it turned out to have issues.
How much blackstone do I get off this farm?
Sweet thanks for the design man going to use it in my survival world
having issues with ghasts spawning now. i believe this build is broken
Block by block tutorial?
FIX!!!!!!!!! the piglens MUST be standing on a trap door, not carpet!!!!
anyone else have a problem where the gold groups up through the walls?? if you can find a soulution plz let me know
